The images in this section were my original series of fine art photographs.   In many ways they were the offspring of the Covid era, a time when so many people were confined living in some degree of isolation.  For me, that led to increased time spent observing my immediate surroundings - my garden, local parks and shorelines - and seeing more in the simple things than I ever did. 

 

When restrictions loosened, I ventured out further.  One of the things I found myself drawn to was the flamenco world of San Francisco's North Bay.  I've been lucky to have been made welcome at various shows.  There's something about flamenco music and dance that for me matches nature's blend of wildness and beauty.
